The results from our 2018 Donor Survey are in and it’s unanimous! Our fundholders and legacy donors value the services, the responsiveness, and the impact of giving through Placer Community Foundation (PCF).
This past July and August, PCF conducted an extensive survey to learn what we are doing well and what may need improvement. We received a 54% response rate, and we gained many valuable insights. We are using the results to help shape our planning around donor services, engagement, as well as our leadership and impact in the community.
The survey findings indicate that donors have exceedingly positive perceptions of PCF. In particular, donors rate PCF very highly in overall satisfaction and would readily recommend PCF to a friend or colleague. Attributes donors most commonly use to describe PCF are “trustworthy,” “community,” “professional,” and “caring.”
When asked what is “most important” when deciding to give through PCF, donors indicated that PCF’s integrity and trustworthiness is of the highest importance, followed by quality of staff, and knowledge and experience working with local nonprofits. These same factors were ranked very high in overall satisfaction.
Every donor who took the survey was automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $500 grant to the charity of their choice. The winner is Nancy and Kenneth Kahn, and we will be making a $500 grant to The Gathering Inn in their name.
We appreciate all of you who participated in the survey. We are humbled by the high marks we received and feel honored to be a trusted resource for your philanthropy.
