There are many unique and distinct generations in society today, and knowing how each one operates is more critical to civic engagement than ever before. Volunteers want to help but they must have a clearly defined goal and a defined path to achieving that goal. In this workshop, we’ll examine how to create valuable volunteer experiences for the different generations and make the best use of their passion and drive.  We’ll also learn about an amazing volunteer management program for nonprofits, Service Enterprise, coming to the Sacramento region.

Learning Objectives:

  • How youcommunicate with these very different types of volunteers
  • Which causes they are passionate about and why
  • Their unique skills and personality preferences
  • How they use and relate to society, technology and each other
