A California native, Sue Thompson moved to Placer County in 1974 and has been working in real estate here for over 35 years. For the past 18 years she has owned HomeTown Realtors in Auburn.
A strong interest of Sue’s is art and photography, and that has greatly influenced her business philosophy. Art is about creating something from nothing and that’s how she views the job of a real estate agent – it has nothing to do with real estate and has everything to do with people and helping bring their dreams into reality.
Sue always loves to give back wherever she can. She learned about PCF through Kelly Richardson, who was one her agents as well as through Janice Forbes, PCF’s Founding Board Chair. “I loved what they did – they both had a lot of class and what made them feel good at the end of the day was how they made the community better. That’s what I wanted to do.”
