Placer Community Foundation donors provided for a new commercial-grade freezer for Auburn Interfaith Food Closet (AIFC). A faith-based organization consisting of 20 member churches and 170 volunteers, AIFC feeds approximately 2,300 people per month.
“The new freezer drastically reduces our energy costs and allows us to receive and store larger deliveries of meats, breads and vegetables,” said Sandy Bassett, Executive Director of AIFC. “This is a greatly appreciated gift that will really benefit our clients.”
