Community Needs Fund
A gift to the Community Needs Fund addresses a broad range of local needs—including future needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time your gift is made. We evaluate all aspects of community well-being: arts and culture, economic development, education, environment, health and human services, neighborhood revitalization, and more. The flexibility of your unrestricted gift enables our experienced community foundation program staff to respond to the community’s most pressing needs, today and tomorrow.
PCF Operational Fund
This permanently endowed administrative fund supports the operations of Placer Community Foundation forever. Your gift would help us provide resources to strengthen nonprofits, provide leadership and convening to address key issues in the community, and promote philanthropy throughout the region.
Youth Development/ Giving Circle Fund
Everyone is aware of how much young people need support and opportunities to learn, contribute, lead, develop life skills, and relate to others. Too often, we hear bad news about teen challenges without celebrating the wonderful, smart, creative, bring-on-the-world talents people ages 14-21 contribute to our communities. The Youth Development Fund reaches many young people, offering positive role models, peer relationships and opportunities for youth to lead. This grant program is supported by the Giving Circle.
Community Leadership Fund
The Placer Community Foundation stays abreast of the issues and activities affecting our region. It is our commitment to provide donors with quality information so they can best direct their philanthropy for greater impact. Contribute to this fund to address issues such as workforce housing, food delivery systems, homelessness, and enrichment activities in the visual arts.
Nonprofit Initiative Fund
Placer Community Foundation designed the Nonprofit Initiative to help local nonprofit organizations thrive and grow. Targeted to nonprofits serving residents throughout much of Placer County, the program helps organizations deliver higher quality, more sustainable, more valuable community services. By accessing the programming of this initiative, local nonprofit organizations more effectively assess progress, develop people, plan growth, and manage operations.

Arts Endowment Fund
Placer Community Foundation established an Arts Initiative to help develop, promote and encourage the arts in Placer County—for the benefit of our children and our local communities. Opportunities to support and sustain the arts abound—from music for young children to galleries and performance halls producing and exhibiting their works. Donate to this fund to help continue the work of the Arts Initiative or support an aspect of the arts important to you, your family and friends, or your local community.
PCF Disaster Relief Fund
Emergency Assistance
Working to direct resources during times of crisis, the Placer Community Foundation established a Disaster Relief Fund to address needs in the aftermath of a disaster within our county. Examples of disaster for purposes of our fund include but are not limited to weather calamities such as floods; wildfires; industrial accidents; or acts of terrorism.
