Philanthropic Services Associate
Michelle is your first point of contact at Placer Community Foundation.
After living in various places around the country, Michelle has called Placer County home since 2011. Much of her adult life has been spent in the New England area where she earned a combined degree in psychology/sociology from Emmanuel College.
Michelle’s volunteer experience runs the gambit from high school candy-striper, day care teacher on a Native American reservation, trail worker and Scotch broom pull organizer, to foster dog parent and delivering meals to the socially isolated. Following many years in software quality assurance, Michelle is thrilled to be working in philanthropy that has a direct impact on the community in which she lives. Be sure to say ‘hello’ to Michelle if you see her out enjoying the Foothills with her dogs.
