Placer Community Foundation’s Annual Nonprofit Leadership Summit will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Board members and executives from local nonprofit organizations will learn to fortify and amplify their board’s effectiveness in leadership and fund development. PCF hired Chuck Loring, senior partner of the Indianapolis and Ft. Lauderdale-based firm of Loring, Sternberg & Associates, which provides fundraising and governance consulting services to nonprofits. Chuck is also a Senior Governance Associate for BoardSource in Washington, DC, offering expertise in board development and other governance issues to nonprofit boards across the country. At the Summit, he will present on the board’s role in nonprofit fundraising and planned giving, intentional year-round board recruitment and effective board meetings.
This all-day Summit is free of charge to nonprofits operating along the western slope of Placer County through the generosity of local sponsors.
